ABOUT SAFFIRM

The name Saffirm (SA) derives from the following two words ‘self’ and ‘affirm’. The word ‘affirm’ is a statement that something is confirmed or established. Saffirm want individuals to establish and utilize their entrepreneurship skills and employ it to further their career prospects or start a business.

Who we are

Often entrepreneurship is associated exclusively with those who want to pursue a business venture; however we at Saffirm care to differ. Saffirm focuses on how entrepreneurship skills can be applied to further an individuals’ career prospect, personal life and business venture.

The need for entrepreneurial skills is much broader than the narrow focus on starting a new enterprise and having the ability to create and execute innovation provides a life, work and social well‐being.

Through Blog we Inspire and Motivate young Aspiring Entrepreneurs.

Services

We work with a range of educational institutions; from Universities to Secondary schools to deliver innovative workshops for clients across the UK that focus on identifying and developing young pupils entrepreneurship skills.

Saffirm achieves this primarily through facilitating interactive workshops with theoretical and cognitive learning, whereby the audience have an input in what they learn, in turn making their experience more enjoyable and memorable. Furthermore format of workshops will be tailored to the objectives and culture of the participating organisation.

Universities

For final year and prospective placement students we run an “Added Value Degree” workshop that teaches students how their Entrepreneurial skills can differentiate them amongst their peers as these are skills an increasing number of employers look for. Additionally Saffirm provide students with tools and techniques needed to start their own business as not everyone wants to go into employment.

Colleges & Secondary Schools

Here seeds are planted at an early age so that young people can understand how entrepreneurship works and how the subjects learnt at school are of importance as skills developed will equip them well for the future. Saffirm workshops identify and help develop a number of skills, which students can apply to their personal life, further education, potential career or business idea. Additionally workshops provide a motivational aspect to it as our facilitators are fairly young, and students are likely to be able to relate to them.
