I am learning a thing or two about Never Giving Up! Having watched the video again, and recalling this live from Derek Redmond’s amazing Olympic run I am even more encouraged!

Our year long fundraiser will raise awareness and donations for the Michael J. Fox foundation to help fund the cure!
Geoffrey Parker and I will climb Mt. Kilimanjaro starting July 4, 2011. We will spend our 7th wedding anniversary on the climb and will reach the summit at 19,340 ft on Geoffrey’s 57 th birthday! Geoff will be 51/2 years into his diagnosis with Parkinson’s disease.
I am convinced that Geoffrey can inspire others living with PD through his diligence to stay physically fit. He follows a disciplined exercise regimen and we believe he is slowing the progression of the PD.
We are donating 100% of the donations made to Parker’s Climb to the MJFF, as we are fully funding our climb. We are so encouraged in the direction of the Fox Foundation and believe we will find our cure through their efforts!
